McAfee Secure sites help keep you safe from identity theft, credit card fraud, spyware, spam, viruses and online scams

My system came with 64MB memory and have already upgraded it with additional 64MB. I have a third slot open, can I install a 128MB on it?

First, you have to check your system’s specs for the maximum memory it can handle.  If it can accept 256MB or more then the answer is yes.  SDRAM modules of different sizes can be mixed together.  However, to obtain maximum performance, you must install the largest capacity module on the first slot, the next largest on the second, and so on.

Check the eFetcher Memory Configurator for memory options of your system.
